Considerations
Mate is a series of glazed porcelain tile based on a theme of opposites. The collection name, Mate, is inspired by 2 Italian words: Marmo (Marble) and Terra (Earth). The series juxtaposes Marble, a style with timeless elegance, alongside Earth, a style with natural and irregular characteristics. The various shapes, colors and sizes are designed to live singularly or together, telling a story of two separate and opposing entities coming together as one.
